HFH will provide water and snacks, but suggests bringing a water bottle.  HFH
recommends wearing clothes you don't mind getting dirty, close-toed shoes, hats, sunglasses and sunscreen!  They have free volunteer T-shirts available as well if you chose to wear them instead of getting your own shirt dirty! There will be lots of different tasks for all skill levels.  At that time we could be finishing landscaping projects, finishing siding, erecting a fence, etc.

We hope you stay for the 12-4 time frame but its OK if you need to leave early. Note – please RSVP so we know that we will have good representation there and respond with how many and if kiddos under 16 yrs old will be present to help – entire families are welcome however we need to know if younger helpers will attend as it makes a difference as to what work we do. We will provide drinks and pizza afterward!!!!

Please RSVP to stevesecofsky@msn.com or bnaibutte@gmail.com

3-6 PM - Welcome Week Potluck interfaith activity – Legion Park is on Tomichi Blvd about 1/2 mile east of Main Street in Gunnison

As part of B’nai Butte’s interfaith efforts, we are partnering with the Gunnison Congregational Church and hosting a table at their Welcome Week potluck on 9/15 at which we will offer a complimentary variety of ‘Jewish” foods/desserts supporting their interfaith efforts to support immigrant welcoming and inclusion here in Gunnison.

The Gunnison Cultural Connection is sponsoring a Welcoming Week that celebrates diverse strengths and differences that make Gunnison Valley a place where we are “All In” to creating a welcoming community.
We need about 4-10 people to help donate food items (like ruggalah, cookies, hamantaschen or other Jewish themed items) and work our table. Please RSVP to stevesecofsky@msn.co or bnaibutte@gmail.com if you can donate or join us at our table.
